What is your favorite area of the Community Library in which to volunteer? The Children's Library? The Regional History Department? The Main Circulation Desk?
At the Library there is something for everyone and each task is important. From our annual fundraising events (Our Moveable Feast in March and the Tour of Homes in August) to processing new and donated books and other materials, to shelving, to special projects -- your time will be valued and appreciated!
Since 1955, the Community Library has served the Valley's residents and visitors as a non-profit FREE public library open to all. The Library receives no city, county, state or federal funds, relying instead on donations of all kinds: goods to the Gold Mine thrift shop, monetary contributions, and donations of time. As a Friend of the Library, there are many ways you can help keep your Library running smoothly, no matter what your schedule.
