This business plan competition allows for entrepreneurs in Blaine County to formulate and present short business plans to experienced business leaders, and an opportunity to network and receive feedback. Entrepreneurs Just Do It! is modeled after Idaho TechLaunch, a business competition organized by Boise's Idaho TechConnect. Entrants must come from Blaine County.
Round 1:
October 17: Submit a two-page business plan
Plans will be reviewed by a panel of business professionals from the public and private sectors. Detailed written feedback will be provided to all entrants.
Round 2:
October 29: Jigsaw will announce the finalists and schedule them for a formal competition on November 7.
November 7, 9am to 1pm: Public Entrepreneurs Just Do It! Competition
Finalists will make their formal 15-minute presentations to a second panel of business experts, and the public. The panel will determine the winner who will receive a $1000 award to help further their business.
November 7, 6pm: Presentation by Venture Capitalist Mark Solon
Organized by the non-profit, Jigsaw, Inc. For more information, email or call Jima Rice at Jigsaw, 726-1848.
