Lewis and Clark: A Celebration
Chris Millspaugh, Regional History Librarian
Caritas Chorale with Musical Accompaniment
David Earnest, Composer
Thursday, May 12, 7:00 pm
To mark the bicentennial of the expedition by Lewis and Clark's Corps of Discovery, The Community Library presents a multifaceted, celebratory event.
Following a multimedia presentation by Regional History Librarian Chris Millspaugh, the Caritas Chorale will sing "Immence Ranges of High Mountains", composed by David Earnest in commemoration of Lewis and Clark's journey through Idaho. Accompanying the Caritas Chorale will be flutists playing selections of Native American music.
David Earnest will answer questions and discuss the creative process, and a public reception featuring wine and hors d'oeuvres will round out the evening.
