"The Great Books" Book Club
Confessions by St. Augustine
Tuesday, January 27, 7:00 pm
The Great Books Book Club returns with a discussion of of St. Augustine's Confessions. Augustine, one of western civilization's most influential philosophers, helped shape modern views of Christianity and western morality.
Lee Brown will lead the discussion, which is open to all. Dr. Brown, a Fulbright Scholar, holds Ph.D.'s in political philosophy and geohydrology and was a professor at San Diego State University and Grossmont College for 30 years.
The Great Books Book Club will meet on the fourth Tuesday of every month. All are invited to attend.
