Plutarchus"The Great Books" Book Club
Plutarch: Lives of Noble Grecians and Romans
Tuesday, February 11, 7:00 pm

Perhaps the best known of the classical biographers, Plutarch's Parallel Lives chronicled the lives of such notables as Cicero, Caesar, and Antony. Shakespeare is said to have been inspired by Plutarch's writings while creating Julius Caesar and Antony and Cleopatra. Less well known, however, is Plutarch's Moralia, a collection of essays and advice touching on morals and religion.

Gary Hunt of Iconoclast Bookstore will lead the discussion of Plutarch's works, and all are welcome to attend and join the discussions.
