The Community Library Association
Saturday, August 9, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Complimentary Tea:  11:00 pm - 3:00 pm at the Library

The Community Library Association is proud to present the 25th Tour of Homes, a showcase of architecturally distinctive and uniquely landscaped homes in the Sun Valley area.

The owners of these showcased homes have generously opened their homes for the day to help The Community Library, a nonprofit organization,  provide free library services to the public. The Library receives no tax money and is funded by events such as the Tour of Homes, proceeds from the Gold Mine Thrift Shop, and donations both large and small.

Your ticket to the Tour of Homes provides an opportunity to tour some of the most beautiful private homes in the area while supporting free public library services. Please join in supporting this wonderful resource!

James L. Reveal
Monday, August 18, 7:00 pm

James L. Reveal, renowned botanist and professor emeritus at the University of Maryland, has teamed with wildflower expert and photographer A. Scott Earle (Idaho Mountain Wildflowers) to produce a book showcasing the plants encountered by the Corps of Discovery.

More than just a picture book, Lewis and Clark's Green World provides botanical information, quotes from the expedition's journals, and comments by 19th century and modern scientists. Join Reveal for this slide-lecture as he discusses the book as well as the history and botany surrounding the Lewis and Clark expedition. A book signing will follow the presentation.
