"The Great Books" Book Club
The Greek Drama
Tuesday,
January 8, 7:00 pm
The ancient Greeks perfected the drama, and this month's book club discussion centers on three of the most widely read of all time: The Oedipus Trilogy (Oedipus Rex, Oedipus at Colonus, and Antigone) by Sophocles, Medea by Euripides, and Lysistrata by Aristophanes.
All are welcome to join the discussions, led by Gary Hunt of Iconoclast Bookstore.

Tales
of the Wood River Valley
Ivan Swaner
Thursday, January 24, 7:00 pm
The Wood River Valley, home to the cities of Sun Valley, Ketchum, Hailey, and Bellevue, was once the locale of other towns and home sites as well. Mining, ranching, railroading, and, of course, traveling on snow with skis and snowshoes, all played a part in the valley's development. Join Ivan Swaner, Ketchum native and local historian, as he reveals the colorful history of the valley of the Big Wood River.
