Mark Ross
Sunday, September 2, 6:00 PM

Mark Ross, safari guide and pilot for over 20 years, has penned a remarkable account of life in the African wilderness, its beauties and dangers, the lives of predator and prey, and what can happen when humans become prey for both large animals--and other humans.

Although skilled at protecting his clients from charging elephants, dangerous wildebeests, lions, and cheetahs, Ross could not keep his party and others from being captured by Rwandan Hutu soldiers who infiltrated into Uganda hunting for tourists in 1999. When it was over, nine were dead, and Ross's life had changed forever.
