Sunk Without a Sound:
The Tragic Colorado River Honeymoon of Glen and Bessie Hyde
Brad Dimock
Thursday, June 7, 7:00 pm
Author, Colorado River historian, and former river guide Brad Dimock delves into one of the enduring mysteries of the Colorado River: What happened to Glen and Bessie Hyde?
The Hydes, a young Idaho couple, vanished during their 1928 honeymoon boat trip down the Colorado. First thought to have been victims of the river, Glen and Bessie have since reportedly been seen amid suspicions of murder, pretense, and intrigue.
In this slideshow and lecture, Brad Dimock reveals the results of his two year investigation and tells the story of the Hydes, separating fact from fiction and answering questions no one else thought to ask.
