LIBRARY HOURS: MONDAY 10AM - 6PM | TUESDAY 10AM - 8PM | WEDNESDAY 10AM - 8PM | THURSDAY 10AM - 8PM | FRIDAY 10AM - 6PM | SATURDAY 10AM - 6PM | SUNDAY CLOSED
Local musician, storyteller, poet and riverman Taul Paul will talk about different types of acoustic guitars, making music, and how to learn to play (or extend skills you already have already acquired.)
He will demonstrate the sounds and qualities of different kinds of acoustic guitars. Open to all interested in the history of guitars, Americana and folk, campfire tales and boat songs, and locally home-grown music.
Have guitar, will travel? The presentation will be followed up by a freeform gathering, a “Bring Your Own Guitar” circle where players and observers can exchange stories, songs, riffs, verse, or ideas. Interested, but can’t make it on this night? We will have a BYOG signup sheet before/during/after the event to measure interest in holding future Guitar Circles for players and learners. Just ask a librarian, or email email@example.com.
Guest speaker: Taul Paul, an acoustic guitar player and teacher, (dba DancingFingers)
