April 30- May23, Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-7:30pm. This lively discussion group is a perennial favorite for inquisitive minds in the Wood River Valley. The curriculum is developed by the Foreign Policy Association, and it investigates a range of contemporary foreign and domestic policy issues.
Topics for 2013 include: The European debt crisis and the future of the Euro, changes in Egypt, ethnic tensions in Myanmar, and China's evolving role in African development.
The discussions will be moderated by Don Liebich, the former President and CEO of Sysco Food Services, New York Division and an international consultant. Don has been involved with economic development, citizen diplomacy, and human rights projects in the Middle East. The tuition includes a book compiled by the Foreign Policy Association.
